Job Description
Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab using today’s technology and a few simplifications, and they are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer - Precision Systems to join their team. The role involves designing, prototyping, and building semiconductor fabrication equipment, subsystems, and tools, requiring a strong mix of mechanical, electrical, and system integration expertise. The company focuses on rapid prototyping and building things quickly, and is seeking someone who can own the end-to-end process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience designing and building electromechanical systems for real-world applications
- Electromechanical system design and analysis
- Electrical instrumentation experience (scopes, meters, sensors)
- Mechanical design and CAD proficiency
- Hands-on prototyping, fabrication, and assembly
- Component sourcing and selection
- Light coding and scripting
