Job Description
Atom Computing is seeking a Quantum Operations Engineer to commission, operate, support, and improve quantum computers located in Denmark. The role involves building, troubleshooting, and maintaining the hardware and control interfaces, requiring a strong understanding of atomic physics and quantum computing principles, and the ability to work in a fast-growing startup environment. The position requires travel to Boulder, Colorado for commissioning and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Build, commission, troubleshoot, and improve scientific hardware and control interfaces.
- Deep understanding of the state-of-the-art techniques in atomic physics and quantum computing research.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Definite plus: Familiarity with Python and Git software version control.
