Certified Surgical Technologist - Per Diem - Newton Medical Center

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist nursing personnel in the operating room. The role involves scrubbing, sterilizing, and maintaining sterile fields, assisting with supplies, and transferring patients. Shift expectations are 4 weekday call shifts and one 24-hour weekend call, with potential for a 4-day work week and a holiday on call. The position requires on-call/weekend availability and surgical scrub techniques expertise.

Requirements

• Check and gather all instruments before each case.
• Ensure sterility tapes and date integrity.
• Perform surgical scrub and gown procedures.
