Certified Surgical Technologist - Full-time Nights 7p - 7a, L&D, Morristown Medical Center

This position is for a Full-time Certified Surgical Technologist at Morristown Medical Center, L&D. The role involves performing surgical tasks, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment. It requires adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Apply principles of asepsis and perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving procedures.
• Assemble and set up sterile supplies according to procedure requirements.
• Maintain correct count of sponges, needles, and instruments and ensure proper function.
• Maintain a sterile back table and contribute to team efforts.
• Perform instrument cleaning according to established standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Certify as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
