ATHENA Consulting is seeking a Part-Time Community Health Worker to support Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in accessing local health and social services. The role involves community outreach, partnership building, and health education, requiring a strong understanding of AAPI cultures and community needs. Fluency in an AAPI language is required.

Requirements

• Maryland Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification required or must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
• High School diploma required.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking any of the following languages: Chinese, Bangla, Burmese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Sinhala, Tagalog, Thai, Urdu, Vietnamese.
