Fiber Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fiber Engineer to support the planning, design, permitting, and execution of fiber optic network infrastructure across aerial, underground, and building-entry environments.

Requirements

• Design and document OSP/ISP fiber networks
• Conduct site walks and field validations
• Troubleshoot in-the-field issues
• Validate OTDR, power meter, and light level test results
• Prepare or support permit submissions
• Ensure designs comply with engineering codes and standards
• Support or lead multiple concurrent engineering efforts
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, construction teams, and external vendors
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality and compliance
