Job Description
Astranis is seeking a Director of Facilities and Safety to manage their state-of-the-art 150,000 sqft campus in San Francisco and build out new spaces to support their goal of producing 24 satellites per year. This role involves maintaining facilities, building a safety program, and managing projects to expand capabilities rapidly and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with experience executing projects on-time and on-budget.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in construction or facilities management
- 5+ years in a manager role with direct reports
- Must be onsite 5 days a week, and provide 24/7 on-call support of all critical activities and emergency situations
