Job Description
Astera is seeking a Theoretical Physicist to join the 1cFE Initiative, focused on sub-$0.10/kWh LCOE from fusion within 10 years. This initiative aims to drastically reduce the cost of fusion electricity, pushing towards breakeven and competitive energy sources. The role involves building and validating theoretical models, linking physics to LCOE, and using AI for science tools.
Requirements
- PhD in plasma physics or a related field, or equivalent depth.
