Contract Engineer

Assystem is an international company accelerating the energy transition around the world. They are looking for a Contract Engineer to work on-site in Warrington, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining collaborative working relationships with clients, producing contractual responses, and ensuring that estimates satisfy the scope of work stated within the Task Order Request.

Requirements

• Maintain good collaborative working relationship with client
• Proactively interfacing
• Production of contractual responses including supporting documents
• Presentation of the Response at the JGAR (Joint Governance and Assistance Review)
• Ensuring that estimates satisfy the scope of work stated within the Task Order Request, Employee Instruction, PICD or Change Event
• NEC3 Contract Management using CEMAR
• Monitoring and reporting performance of the TCIF Contracts
• Drafting and responding to Early Warning Notices
• Proactively manage Sub-Contracts
• Chairing DSA Task Feedback Form Reviews
• Actively participate in safety awareness/initiatives
• Undertake training as and when required
• Preparation of monthly reports
• Attend monthly project reviews as required
• Ensuring the accuracy of information provided to the Portfolio Manager or other team members
• Ensure information is filed correctly within the project folders
• Active contribution to continuous improvement and ideas sharing across the project team
• Produce working instructions for key tasks
• Work towards a continuous improvement in the methods and systems of working
