Job Description
Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a Government Technology Agency (GovTech) subsidiary specializing in application security. The application security core center of competency under Development & Innovation for Technology Production & Operations (DITTO) seeks a full-time Application Security Engineer to assess, develop, and improve application security practices. The role involves providing consultancy, security training, and supporting secure coding practices in various development environments.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years combined experience in software development, application security, and cloud computing (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Experience in conducting secure source code review in a waterfall or Agile approach.
- Experience with threat modelling and risk remediation.
- Knowledge in OWASP Top 10 and other industry security best practices.
- Experience with SAST code scanning tools (Checkmarx, Sonarqube, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps concepts.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- CISSP/DevOps/OSCP/OWSE certifications (recommended).
