The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for supporting the Pharmacist in the accurate and timely fulfillment of prescriptions, operating in compliance with the rules and regulations established by the Florida State Board of Pharmacy and Federal Pharmacy Law.

Requirements

• Support the Pharmacist in the accurate and timely fulfillment of prescriptions
• Perform packaging, labeling, record keeping, and other tasks associated with prescription fulfillment and dispensing
• Contact physicians to obtain missing or necessary prescription information
• Collect and verify pertinent patient information to ensure accurate processing
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality
