Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Engineering Team at our Mason City, Iowa facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality production environments, a strong understanding of quality management systems, and excellent collaborative and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a quality production environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green certification preferred.
• ASQ CQE Certification a plus.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal or other quality management systems preferred.
• Subject matter expert (SME) on Quality systems; gage and inspection systems with defined CARS and remediation to drive performance improvements.
• Implementation, supporting and or improving Quality Management System (QMS) preferred.
• Understand and developed systems to support ISO 9001.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop effective teams without extensive oversight.
• Possess excellent collaborative, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to multi-task and handle tasks or projects with competing priorities.
