Procurement Manager leads HID's Secure Issuance regional procurement team, overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier quality for materials originating from North America and Asia-Pacific. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and people development skills, along with deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and process harmonization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 7+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or global operations environment.
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage change and grow team capabilities.
- Strong understanding of purchasing workflows, supply planning principles, and MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, navigate escalations, and ensure continuity of supply in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Ability to balance day-to-day execution with strategic improvements and change management.

- Strong understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO), cost modeling, and commodity-level price drivers.
- Understanding of global sourcing dynamics, including trade compliance, tariff strategies, and inter-regional material flow.
- Proficiency in a second language - particularly French, Mandarin, or Japanese - is highly preferred but not required.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply-chain certification (e.g. APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CLTD; ISM CPSM; CIPS/MCIPS) a plus
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, or related product regulations.
- Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics) for supply and inventory reporting is a plus.
- Experience supporting contract manufacturer relationships and regional fulfillment models.
