Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Norshield, an ASSA ABLOY brand. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment and a strong mechanical aptitude. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electrical/electronic and metal fabrication experience (qualification or certification preferred)
- Working knowledge of brake presses, punch presses, roll formers, and shears
- Ability to perform precision measurements and basic math functions
- Creative problem-solver who can pinpoint complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Clear communication skills (fluent English)
