Global Compliance Engineer

HID Global is seeking a Global Product Certification Engineer to support sales growth and global certifications for IoT products. This role involves supporting Engineering teams with regulatory standards, testing, and documentation, as well as contributing to industry standards and safety compliance. The position reports to the Global Hardware Platforms team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of industry experience in regulatory & compliance
• Experience with lab test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
• Experience with engineering tools (LabView, Matlab, Python)
• Effective communication skills in a distributed, multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (FCC, China Certification, Korea Certification, Mexico Certification, Malaysia Certification, Taiwan Certification, EN 62368, UL 294, ETSI Radio Standards, Russia Certification, Japan Certification, Brazil Certification, Indonesia Certification, India Radio & Safety Certifications, and others).
• Project management and Agile development principles (SAFe)
