Job Description
ASR is seeking a Construction Management Support/Field Engineer to provide construction management support for construction contracts located within the Naval Facilities Engineering System Command Northwest (NAVFAC NW) area of responsibility (AOR). This is a 1-year, 3-month, 24X7 position offering 48-hour-per-week hours split amongst 3 shifts (day, swing, overnight). The role involves coordinating with contractors, reviewing RFIs, analyzing quality control, and monitoring construction progress and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Field Engineer, Construction Manager, Project Manager, or COTR Navy
- Knowledgeable in the three-phases of control and Construction Quality Management System
- Sound understanding of construction concepts and principles
- Experience using construction estimating software
- Knowledgeable in Primavera scheduling software and/or other construction scheduling software packages
- USACE/ NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification
