Job Description
Aspire Public Schools is seeking a part-time Expanded Learning Educator to provide academic intervention, homework support, and enrichment activities to students in an after-school program. The educator will independently supervise groups of up to 20 students, facilitate learning, and work with other team members to meet students' needs. The position requires delivering high-quality instruction, creating a positive learning environment, and collaborating with other staff members to identify unique student needs.
Requirements
- Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned academic or enrichment content areas
- Effectively manage student classroom behavior
- Maintain a safe and effective environment for academic instruction and/or enrichment activities
- Implement regular assessments and analyze student performance data
- Collaborate with other afterschool staff, school day teachers, and outside service providers
