Aspire Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Expanded Learning Site Director to support the planning and operations of a high-quality, personalized afterschool education and enrichment program for students. The role involves assisting the Expanding Learning Site Director in carrying out administrative components of the After School Program, including attendance, payroll and other reporting, communicating with parents, and providing logistical and clerical support.
Requirements
- Maintains accurate student records, including attendance, and submits reports in accordance with Aspire procedures
- Ensures compliance with all safety and other regulatory and/or funder requirements
- Facilitates regular communications with parents/families about student attendance and behavior, as well as broader family engagement in the After School Program
- Assists in compiling and analyzing student performance data, conducting assessments and other data management as needed to support staff in delivering high-quality instruction
- Provides occasional classroom, small group or individualized instruction as needed to support regular program operations
- Creates an environment of high expectations for learning, student behavior and staff professionalism
- Develops and supports student behavior management systems and procedures to ensure all students are fully engaged in learning
- Oversees selected tutoring staff, contractors and volunteers as needed
