Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to partner with them in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. The team will be based in a secure camp and hospital facility in Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within that facility.
Requirements
- Graduate or higher-level degree from an accredited professional nursing educational program
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia
- Minimum of three (3) years as a registered nurse with a minimum of one (1) full year of experience in intensive care, critical care, or emergency department nursing, or equivalent
- Current, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Current, valid SANE certification
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) and/or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification is highly desired
- Fluency in Haitian Creole and/or French is highly desired
- A secondary language is preferred
