Staff Accountant - Asbury Automotive Group

Asbury Automotive Group is a Fortune 500 company seeking a Staff Accountant to join their financial reporting team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of public accounting experience and be able to assist with SEC reporting, technical accounting, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting and/or Master of Accountancy
• CPA (or in the examination/licensing process)
• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience with financial reporting for SEC registrants is preferred
• Big Four experience is preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting
• A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a collaborative work environment
• Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workiva and OneStream is a plus
