Job Description
The Chair of Clinical Medicine provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Department of Clinical Medicine at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. This role is responsible for fostering excellence in clinical medical education, scholarship, and patient care.
Requirements
- Develops and implements a strategic plan for the Department of Clinical Medicine
- Fosters a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Represents the Department of Clinical Medicine within AWSOM and to external stakeholders
- Oversees the administrative, academic, and fiscal operations of the Department of Clinical Medicine
- Develops and implements policies and procedures
- Collaborates with other departments and external stakeholders
