Job Description
The 2026 Arts in Medicine Intern: Spring supports the integration of the arts into health and wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with Crystal Bridges, The Momentary, and the Alice Walton School of Medicine.
Requirements
- Co-design and adapt arts-based learning activities aligned with the ARCHES curriculum
- Support gallery and studio sessions that use art, storytelling, and reflection to strengthen observation, communication, and empathy in medical learners
- Prepare materials, manage set up and logistics, and co-facilitate with museum staff and AWSOM faculty
- Scan literature and case studies and grow a shared resource library on arts in medicine
- Connect exhibitions and collections to program goals through artwork selection and prompts
- Help plan and facilitate events, workshops, and community engagements including run of show and follow up
- Contribute to evaluation by collecting participant feedback and assisting with data entry and basic analysis under staff direction while following privacy and confidentiality protocols
- Document sessions through notes and photo logs consistent with institutional media guidelines
