Job Description
This position is for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical care and support to individuals in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment facilities. The LPN will administer medications, monitor client health, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. Supervision will be provided by an RN or physician. The position emphasizes collaboration with the treatment team and documentation of patient progress.
Requirements
- Current and valid LPN license in the State of Ohio (required)
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and medication management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- CPR and First Aid certification
