Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Maintenance Technician (Electrical) role at Argent Energy, a leading European waste-based biodiesel producer. The role involves performing maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to ensure reliable production. Work includes inspecting and executing planned maintenance, monitoring CMMS, ensuring compliance with electrical regulations and safety rules, and supporting the team leader.

Requirements

• Post apprenticeship experience working as an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician within the Chemical/Oil & Gas Industry
• Experience of maintaining and installing ATEX systems
• Competent on LV equipment – isolations/de-Isolations & fault finding
• Experience working with and maintaining LV motors and strong knowledge of different types of motor control circuits
• Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regs 1989
• Knowledge of process control instrumentation, temp, pressure, flow, level, weight etc.
• Knowledge of Plant control systems, DCS’s, PLC’s, SCADA, HMI’s, relay logic
• MEWP licensed preferred but not essential
