Associate Vice President, Compliance

Ares is looking for an Associate Vice President or Senior Associate, Compliance specialist to handle and assist with regulatory and compliance related activities of the Asia Pacific region, with a primary focus on Singapore. The role will also work closely with the Ares Management global Compliance and Regulatory functions.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required or other relevant qualification/s
• At least 3-6 years of relevant Compliance experience in a regulated financial institution, preferably in fund management
• Strong understanding of the Singapore regulatory framework
• Knowledge of the fund management industry and/or financial products and financial market processes
• Proactive management approach, including effective upward management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent team orientation
• Self-motivated, highly detail oriented, display good judgment and logical decision making apart from highly developed technical skills
• Have strong sense of ownership spirit, and able to work independently
• Possess multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
