Job Description
Ardent is seeking a GIS Analyst to join their team at SSA Headquarters in Baltimore, MD. The role involves providing geospatial support for the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness (OSEP) and other SSA components, including creating and maintaining GIS products, developing analytical tools, and delivering timely geospatial information. This position is critical for maintaining operations and ensuring mission success.
Requirements
- Develop, maintain, and update GIS applications and dashboards within SSA’s enterprise GIS environment.
- Create geospatial products supporting natural and man-made threats.
- Support OSEP in tracking, visualizing, and reporting on incidents.
- Deliver year-round support for the SSA Incident Command Center (ICC), providing geospatial products and analysis.
- Work with SSA’s Enterprise Database Architect to ensure GIS datasets align with SSA standards.
- Provide surge support during emergency events.
