Job Description
Arconic is seeking a Strategic Buyer to join the Tennessee Operations in Alcoa, TN, and collaborate with Plant departments, Global Category Management, and Regional Procurement to achieve the best total cost position for external spend. The role involves executing procurement strategies, managing supply chains, and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the Plant Procurement team. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Requirements
- Reports to the Tennessee Operations Procurement Manager
- Skills in production processes, quality control, and cost analysis
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles
- Proficiency in technology skills (Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP, Microsoft Excel)
