Back End Software Engineer

Architus is a technology company connecting UK and US businesses with top EU engineering talent, expanding their operations in Lithuania. They are seeking a Back End Software Engineer to contribute to a growing team developing greenfield solutions and driving innovation for a leading energy company. The role involves building API-first services and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience essential
• Knowledge of TypeScript and Node
• Proven experience in a fast-paced growth environment
• Understanding of multi-server architectures, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/Kubernetes)
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or AWS is a plus
• Passion for product and user experience, along with strong commercial thinking
• Strong desire to make an impact and take ownership early
• Attention to detail with a focus on security
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) is beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English language
