R&D Manager – Pet Solutions

The R&D Manager – Pet Solutions leads innovation, optimization, and renovation projects for ADM's pet nutrition business in Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for developing nutritionally balanced pet foods, treats, and snacks, while also driving initiatives that strengthen production and development capabilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's in Veterinary or Animal Science with at least 10 years in product development
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in formulation, production, or quality control within the animal feed or pet food industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience using formulation software (e.g., Allix) and nutritional analysis tools is an advantage
• Strong project management skills with a proven record of leading cross-functional projects
• Solid scientific understanding, including chemistry, biochemistry, nutrition, food science, and animal physiology (dogs and cats)
• Familiarity with product testing methodologies such as palatability and digestibility studies is an asset
