Maintenance/Millwright, West Plant - Decatur, IL

The Maintenance/Millwright position will provide support of preventative and failure-based maintenance as required by the plant’s needs. Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or a strong mechanical background to include a minimum of 3-5 years of hands on maintenance and/or millwright experience
• Technical school training as mechanic or equivalent highly desired
• Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management and take such courses on a continuing basis during the training period
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
