We are seeking an Account Manager to join our commercial sales team in the UK Oils and Fats industry. The role involves managing sales accounts, developing new business opportunities, and analyzing market trends.
Requirements
- Manage and develop a portfolio of Sales Accounts within the business
- Build and develop deep market understanding and map market sectors
- Develop new concepts in conjunction with the technical team to meet customer requirements
- Maintain appropriate understanding of the products and processes in the Oils and Fats Industry
- Analyze market trends and opportunities in the Oils & Fats Industry
- Process, manage and maintain contract data and information within company systems
- Represent the company externally
- Provide regular updates to traders in different offices
- Proven experience in new business development
- Involvement with new product development
- Good experience in a sales/trading environment
- Gravitas and ability to step into more senior capacity
- IT Skills including MS Office
- Quick learner with the ability to problem solve
- Performance and results orientated
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and manage key stakeholders
