Elementary Teacher

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation features a coalition of schools that provide a higher quality education and welcoming community for students. A Catholic Elementary School Teacher is responsible for fostering a Christ-centered, academically excellent learning environment that nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional growth of each student.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid teaching credential or certification appropriate for elementary education
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
• Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings and a commitment to faith-based education
• Experience teaching in a classroom setting, preferably in a Catholic school
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance instruction
