Job Description
Arbonics is seeking a Forest Carbon Analyst to contribute to their Verification Team, specializing in carbon modelling, forestry expertise, and project development. The role involves technical expertise in MRV/PDD creation, supporting client engagements, and driving credibility with clients. The position also supports project roadmaps and expands Arbonics' market reach.
Requirements
- Degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field (MSc or higher preferred)
- Proficiency in R, Python, or other programming languages
- Strong technical understanding of forest growth modelling, carbon accounting, and MRV frameworks
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders
