Job Description
Aptihealth is seeking a Practice Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients, partners, and internal staff. This on-site position involves handling phone calls, managing requests, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient needs. The role focuses on creating a positive and efficient experience for callers while maintaining clear communication flow.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service, patient experience, or customer success experience
- Empathetic, patient, and professional communicator
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong focus on priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable using multiple software platforms
- Prior experience in a medical or behavioral health setting a plus
- HIPAA compliance
