Job Description
IT Systems Engineer II responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining enterprise IT systems, working closely with IT Solutions Architect, and collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and users to ensure development and integration of scalable, secure, and resilient technology environments.
Requirements
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding all IT systems and information
- Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies and procedures
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
- Develop a thorough understanding of current IT infrastructure and solutions
- Design and deploy new or enhanced IT systems and infrastructure
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements
- Configure and maintain technology components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement and sustain security measures to protect sensitive data and systems
- Conduct regular system reviews and audits
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems and configurations
- Assist in developing and reporting on return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for systems
- Prepare reports on system performance and security incidents
- Collaborate with IT personnel to integrate systems effectively
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans and procedures
