Electrical Instrumentation Inspector (Independent Contractor)

Applus Velosi is seeking independent contractor electrical instrumentation inspectors to conduct on-site inspections of electrical equipment and materials. The role involves document review, reporting preparation, compliance with standards, and potentially overtime. The position requires a strong commitment to quality and adherence to organizational policies. This is an on-call and overtime position under an Independent Contractor relationship.

Requirements

• Canadian Electrical Certificate (Journeyman, Master, or Red Seal Electrician).
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Minimum 7 years experience in electrical fabrication or quality inspection.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical instrumentation and third-party inspections.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office and other software applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a high-pressure environment and manage priorities.
• Strong organizational skills.
