Job Description
Potomac Pediatrics is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Therapist to provide compassionate and collaborative therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and young adults. This role involves working closely with the Staff Psychiatrist, Pediatrician, and other clinical staff, offering weekly clinical supervision to facilitate independent licensure. Therapy services are exclusive to primary care patients.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from accredited college or university
- Active Maryland Social Worker (LMSW) license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance abuse
- Knowledge of psychosocial disorders, diagnoses, therapies, and childhood development
- DSM-5 proficiency
- Knowledge of CBT techniques
- Demonstrated interest in working with children, adolescents and young adults
