Part-Time Laundry Assistant & Housekeeper

A part-time Laundry Assistant & Housekeeper position available at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL. Responsible for processing and preparing linen for distribution to various departments and residents.

Requirements

• Transport laundry to the laundry area
• Sort laundry before it is washed using proper technique
• Help load and unload washers and dryers, as directed
• Sort clean laundry after it is washed
• Hand fold linens and sort personal clothing per unit
• Deliver clean linens and personals to clean linen closets and resident rooms, respectively
• Provide linen requirements to all areas seven days a week
• Inform Maintenance of potential equipment malfunction
• Use chemicals as directed
• Use proper techniques while handling isolation linen
