Job Description
APEXX is a dynamic Fintech scale-up that is pioneering payment orchestration. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team and design and build backend services that power our core platform.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services (utilising Java Spring Boot)
- Optimise backend systems for real-time processing, performance, resilience, and scalability
- Implement integrations with third-party systems
- Participate in the full software delivery lifecycle
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers
- Provide high-quality code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to infrastructure and DevOps best practices
