Resident Technician responsible for performing electromechanical technician duties, providing on-site customer training, and supporting equipment installations and upgrades. Occasional overtime may be required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline (engineering tech, Field Bus, electronics) preferred
- 3+ years of industrial assembly experience, preferred
- 2+ years of experience in performance and functional testing, preferred
- Capable of reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
- Experience with LAN/WAN networks, preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to verbally express and exchange ideas with customers and company employees
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication
- Strong written communication skills with internal and external partners
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
- Resourceful, roll-up-the-sleeves attitude must have the initiative to resolve problems and seek answers independently, and enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and demanding situations
