Assistant Maintenance Director

The Assistant Maintenance Director supports the upkeep and functionality of apartment communities by performing repairs and maintenance on various systems.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable of basic electric, plumbing, drywall/painting, carpentry, ceramic/tile, and appliance installation/removal and repairs.
• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certified required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of general maintenance experience required.
• At least one (1) apartment maintenance experience required.
• Experience in turnovers/make-readies of vacant units in multifamily industry a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs as part of daily tasks.
