Heat to Power System Test Intern (Thermophotovoltaics/High-Temperature Systems)

Antora Energy is seeking a Heat To Power System Test Intern to support the development and testing of thermophotovoltaic (TPV)-based Solid-State Heat Engine (SSHE) prototypes. The intern will play a hands-on role in executing, improving, and documenting critical test campaigns.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Energy Systems, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with experimental hardware, tools, fixtures, sensors, or test equipment (academic, research, or industry)
• Demonstrated attention to data quality, repeatability, and experimental rigor
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, thermal, electrical, or instrumentation issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience documenting procedures or results
• Strong safety awareness when working with physical systems, electricity, or elevated temperatures
