Senior Product Designer (Design Systems)

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll join a globally distributed design team at a pivotal time, playing a foundational role in creating a new design language and system from the ground up based on our branding. You'll use the design system you build to design new features within Blackboard such as AI powered learning and the future of assessment.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years as a product designer on both mobile and web products
• Excellent visual design skills as well as a solid UX design foundation
• Experience creating Design Systems or playing a significant contribution role
• Strong portfolio showcasing solid user centered design practice and design execution
• Experience running research such as usability testing
• Team player and exceptional communicator who simplifies complexity, tells compelling stories, and is comfortable running customer and senior level calls
• Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility
• Fluency in written and spoken English
