Job Description
Certified Phlebotomy Technician to support the Phoenix VA Health Care System. Performs specimen collection, labeling procedures, and laboratory techniques. Must have phlebotomy certification, high school diploma, and 1-2 years of experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years as a patient service technician/phlebotomist
- 2-3 years of phlebotomist experience in an acute care setting is preferred
