Animals Asia Foundation is seeking a professional for the newly created role of Human Resources and Administrative Officer. The organisation is experiencing rapid growth in its animal welfare programs and supporter base.
Requirements
- Prepare monthly payroll for designated locations, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
- Coordinate the full recruitment cycle: post job advertisements, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates and support hiring managers.
- Manage new hire onboarding: prepare welcome materials, coordinate orientation schedules, and ensure a positive first-day experience.
- Maintain and update the HRIS, including employee records, org-charts and leave balances.
- Process employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, transfers, and offboardings.
- Support the salary benchmarking and performance review process.
- Assist with the preparation of HR reports and data analysis (e.g. headcount, turnover).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR and administrative processes.
- Manage office vendor contracts and relationships (e.g. insurance renewals), including initial price negotiations.
- Organise company events and activities.
- Assist with office renovation or relocation projects as needed.
- Act as a first point of contact for general employee queries regarding HR policies.
- Support well-being initiatives and employee engagement surveys.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications related to admin and HR updates.
- Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of all HR and Admin files.
- Assist in formulating and implementing HR and Admin policies, employee benefits, and related internal guidelines to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
