Environmental Products - Origination Analyst

Anew is seeking an Origination Analyst to contribute to its growing portfolio of forestry-based carbon projects. The successful candidate will have a background in forestry or a related field and experience with ArcGIS mapping and analysis.

Requirements

• Prepare written carbon project feasibility analysis documents for landowners
• Perform statistical analyses of forest inventories and other data sets
• Analyze remote sensing databases to produce accurate estimates of carbon sequestration and emissions reductions
• Manage geospatial data and produce maps using ArcGIS or other geospatial software
• Analyze financial costs and benefits of carbon project development
• Review easements/harvest prohibitions and conduct project eligibility due diligence
• Articulate carbon analysis processes for landowners
