Forensic Testing Service (FTS) provides expert drug and alcohol reports to support family law court proceedings, aiming to ensure the safety of children across the country from drug and alcohol abuse in the home.
Job Description
Join our Sample Preparation Team and support our Laboratory Technician and Sample Preparation Assistants in ensuring the Sample Preparation Department runs efficiently. We provide full, in-house training for people from different scientific backgrounds and offer opportunities for progression within the company.
Requirements
- BSc in relevant discipline (E.g. Forensics, Biological, Biomedical)
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Determined attitude toward learning and continuous self-development
- High numeracy and communication skills to record observations and data accurately
- High level of dexterity and precision in helping to prepare client samples
- Utmost attention to detail
- Experience working in a professional laboratory working to ISO/IEC 17025 standards (desired)
