Staff Robotics Test Engineer, AI/ML Software

Staff Robotics Test Engineer to take ownership of hardware-based data collection and validation workflows, with a strong emphasis on real-world sensor data gathering, robotic use cases, and hardware-in-the-loop evaluation. The role involves testing and certifying simulation assets to ensure they meet the highest standards for deployment.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sensor validation, hardware integration, or robotics hardware testing.
• Strong, hands-on experience with robotic sensors such as Tactile, ToF, RGB-D, LIDAR, IMU — both hardware setup and data characterization.
• Proven track record designing or executing structured data collection campaigns in physical environments.
• Experience with safety-critical systems or working with physical hardware in a controlled testing environment (e.g., collision avoidance, redundancy, error handling).
