Museum Security Officer (Casual Position)

The Museum Security Officer is a part-time, casual position with no benefits. The job requires ensuring a safe and secure environment at the Amherst College Museums, providing customer service, and conducting regular patrols. The work schedule may vary and requires evening and/or weekend availability.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving, time management, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Gmail and ability to use and learn other software
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and lift test
