Senior Associate Software Engineer – Backend

Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Backend Software Engineer to join the AI & Data Innovation Lab. The role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining microservices using Python, creating and managing RESTful APIs, and working closely with product managers and AI and software engineers and architects.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Python
• Create and manage RESTful APIs
• Apply software engineering best practices
• Contribute to building and deploying applications with Docker
• Design, develop, and maintain database schemas
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers
• Identify and resolve software issues and bugs

• Promotes code quality through reviews and static analysis tools
